It was a pretty fun game to play. The jumping works rather well and the levels have a nice, challenging design too. However, the collision detection could be more detailed, now you can walk past the edge of a platform (although that's also a useful feature in some parts).

The ability to jump from the edges of platforms was a staple of the older retro titles on Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum that I was trying to emulate, but you might be right, in today's world gamers are more sophisticated and expect more of a challenge.
